Atlanta, GA -- Northridge Interactive was recently recognized in the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA) Awards as one of three finalists in the highly competitive “Most Effective Use of Video” category for its work on the MomsRising.org “Mother of the Year Award” online video campaign launched just prior to Mother’s Day 2009.
The honored Northridge entry features viral functionality wherein a user enters the name and email address of a favorite Mom who then receives a link to a news video with their name prominently featured and celebrated as having been named ‘Mother of the Year 2009’. The viral nature of the video campaign resulted in over 12 million views and more than one million opt-in email members for MomsRising.org. Additionally, the video campaign was awarded ‘Outstanding Interactive Application’ in the national 2010 Internet Advertising Competition Awards.
The 2010 AiMA Awards recognize Atlanta-area companies, agencies, and individuals as well as national agencies with Atlanta-based clients or offices that were leaders in the field of interactive marketing in 2009. The objective is to encourage and reward innovative and measurably effective interactive marketing programs by sharing the industry’s best practices with others in the local business community.
