Atlanta, GA -- Northridge Interactive, the leading Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the Southeast focused on custom business applications, website design, and rich internet applications, is pleased to announce that the Web Marketing Association named two Northridge clients as recipients of 2009 WebAwards.
The WebAwards were presented to Northridge clients, Walle Corporation for Outstanding Website Design, and Status Blue for Standard of Excellence in Website Design. Both awards were in the highly competitive Business to Business (B2B) industry category.
Founded by the Web Marketing Association in 1997, the WebAwards is the premier annual website award competition that names the best websites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development. This year’s competition included more than 2,000 websites from 45 countries including websites for Bank of America, Sony, Adidas, Microsoft, Sprint, Porsche, M&M’s, Volvo, and Jeep. Website entries were judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use. Both of the Northridge award-winning client websites excelled beyond industry averages in design, ease of use, and innovation.
This year marked Northridge’s second year in a row of winning the prestigious Outstanding Website Award which recognizes outstanding website design above and beyond the industry standard of excellence. This year’s Outstanding Website Award was awarded to Walle Corporation. Awarded to only a subset of entries, this year Walle shares the Business to Business Outstanding Website Award with Panasonic. Shared excerpts from this year’s WebAwards judges’ comments on the Walle website design include: “beautiful, fresh design,” “homepage Flash sequence gives great overview of the company,” “well written copy,” “well organized,” and “excellent user experience overall.”
The WebAwards design Standard of Excellence Award, awarded to Northridge client Status Blue, is described by the Web Marketing Association as recognizing the standard of excellence for which all websites should strive and awarded to those websites scoring higher across the seven criteria than the average across its respective industry category. This year marks the third consecutive year Northridge has received the WebAward Standard of Excellence recognition for its client work.
“The thing that makes us the most proud is that we scored perfect tens for Design and Ease of Use for the Walle website. This is a validation of our user-centric approach to designing successful user experiences,” commented Stephen Love, Northridge Interactive Group President. “Having our peers recognize both the Walle and Status Blue with the company of other B2B websites receiving awards is really satisfying to our team.”
