Northridge Launches Custom Holiday Viral Video Featuring President Barack Obama

Atlanta, GA -- Northridge Interactive is pleased to announce the successful launch of its latest viral video solution and special campaign for Organizing for America (OFA) featuring President Barack Obama which can be found at http://holiday.barackobama.com/.

OFA turned to Northridge seeking a customized viral video campaign specifically targeting the holiday season and prominently featuring President Obama. Northridge worked in concert with OFA to develop the holiday message including a holiday video leveraging personalization, enabling a user to select a holiday greeting, and enter the name and email address of a friend who then receives an email containing a link to a personalized holiday video.

The video features OFA supporters across the United States in iconic U.S. landmarks from sea to shining sea with holiday greetings featuring a friend’s name, wrapping with holiday wishes from President Obama as he signs a personalized holiday card to the friend recipient by name. Enabling the holiday video greeting to go viral, the message concludes with the opportunity to enter the names and email addresses of additional friends, who will then in turn receive a link to their own personalized holiday video greetings.

Northridge hosts the OFA Happy Holidays website utilizing the LIQUID Digital Marketing Platform (LIQUID). The LIQUID Platform not only enables video customization using Adobe Flash font and motion treatments, but also provides OFA with in-depth web analytics including hits, unique views, organization and geo-location information, duration of visit, and trend analysis across key metrics. For this particular campaign the videos themselves leveraged the Panther Express web service for content delivery. Upon launch via Facebook, Twitter, and email, the holiday viral video campaign and website was met with immediate success totaling more than 9 million views since initial launch.
