Okay, I couldn’t help go back to a golden oldie in the Microsoft advertising annals. Back around 1995, this was the first global campaign for Microsoft…looking back using their new search engine Bing, I found a Wikipedia entry and another article talking about how people started answering the question literally by calling in and naming various places.

So I digress, the start of this post was to be about Bing. I just figured it appropriate to search for something Microsoft related. I think that the old ad campaign and Bing are just good examples of what Microsoft is capable of when it puts its mind (and money) to it. Now, I need to use Bing a bunch more to feel like I can really speak as an authority on whether it will be able to get some penetration into Google’s dominant position. Upon some quick usage though, there are some interesting features that make it appealing enough to continue trying.
